Harvest Haliburton is proud to have completed many important projects toward the goal of improving the local food system, with many more to come.
In 2023 Harvest Haliburton
1. Completed website update to provide our community members with up-to-date information and resources.
This is an ongoing project.
2. Held member reconnect meetings with past and present Harvest Haliburton members to review our action plan and finalize priorities for 2023/2024.
3. Supported advocacy efforts of Haliburton Farmers' Market.
4. Enhanced Harvest Haliburton membership and recruited new community partners. (Interested in joining? Contact Aisha Malik).
5. Participated in Haliburton County Economic Development Strategy Consultation and made submission with recommendations regarding enhancement of local food system.
